Beside the successful technical demonstration of IR spectroscopic limb-imaging from altitudes of 36000 m, one major goal of the flight, which captured a sun-set and a sun-rise, was to investigate photochemical processes of ozone-relevant trace-gases, like BrONO2, NO2, N2O5 and ClONO2.
