Compared to 2021, the instrument's capability has been enhanced by enabling nadir-viewing in addition to limb-imaging. The aim of the multifaceted mission is to measure the stratospheric composition to explore dynamical and chemical processes, high-reaching pollution from boreal forest fires, as well as to support ESA in preparing CAIRT and the selected Earth Explorer 9 mission FORUM.
